Scosche chitCHAT A Great Hands-Free Speakerphone

Let your finger do the answering!

Recognizing that not all cell phone users are alike, Scosche Industries, an innovator of mobile electronic aftermarket accessories, is offering a great solution for consumers seeking to comply with new laws requiring drivers to use hands-free phone devices. In California, the law took effect July 1; other states enacting similar regulations include Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

The Scosche CBHV5 chitCHAT Bluetooth speakerphone clips directly to the visor. Though not much larger than a garage door opener, it features digital signal processing (DSP) echo cancellation software, an adjustable LED screen that shows who’s calling, battery life, pair status and volume, one-button call answer/end, volume control, 10 hours of talk time, 600 hours standby, a rechargeable battery and it includes a car charger and a USB cable for home charging.

I’ve been using the chitCHAT for more than a month now and I love it! All I have to do is turn on the device to pair it with my cell phone; it beeps to let me know it's connected. Incoming calls are loud and clear and the sound quality is excellent, even in noisy traffic. It’s easy to use and portable…which means I only have to buy one chitCHAT for all of my cars. However, at $80 (street price), you might want to buy one for each car.
